A Moment Of Meditation

A Moment Of Meditation

And then,
All of a sudden,
You realize the beautiful innocence
You've been once,
But no longer,
The purity of the infant you were,
With all the blank spaces and the hopeful aspirations,
Full of life and full of love,
Coming through what we call this life ..

Confused in space and time,
Like if you're just watching another child,
Questioning about how real you are,
And trying to give some sense to this lapse of time in your life,
Between what you remember you were and the thing you've become,
And how closely to you both are,
And you remember that you're grown now,
And everything has grown too;
The heaviness of your life,
Carefulness of the your mind,
And even everything around.

And you ask yourself,
How similar am i,
To what i think i am?

Proficiency

Proficiency,
I was told to get you
No matter how.
I toiled for you,
Days and nights,
So you could come.
Proficiency,
I was thirsty for you,
So i drunk more than i should,
I ate more than i could,
And then vomited it all ..
Proficiency,
I was wrong,
I thought you were strong,
But no,
It's all about me getting a form,
Without those dumb songs.
Me and myself making a storm,
That's how you should come ..
Proficiency,
I aimed for you,
They told me that's what i have to do,
So i played the chorus more than i should,
And then all was down again ..
Proficiency,
All the things were weird,
Until it all became clear,
It's not about fears,
It's about getting the right fit,
In right time,
Before it swirls ..

kindness by sylvia plath

Kindness by Sylvia Plath

Kindness glides about my house.
Dame Kindness, she is so nice!
The blue and red jewels of her rings smoke
In the windows, the mirrors

Sugar can cure everything, so Kindness says.
Are filling with smiles.

What is so real as the cry of a child?
A rabbit's cry may be wilder
But it has no soul.
Sugar is a necessary fluid,

Its crystals a little poultice.
O kindness, kindness
Sweetly picking up pieces!
My Japanese silks, desperate butterflies,
May be pinned any minute, anesthetized.

And here you come, with a cup of tea
Wreathed in steam.
The blood jet is poetry,
There is no stopping it.
You hand me two children, two roses.

Anatomy and Art

The inspiration from the human body and its particularites, and how it can change some actual notions about our bodies.
I liked this quotation from her speech, it's so interesting to see.
Nothig can elicit an emotional response from joy to complete disgust more than human body.

The Pale Blue Dot

The Pale Blue Dot
" We succeeded in taking that picture, and, if you look at it, you see a dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever lived, lived out their lives. The aggregate of all our joys and sufferings, thousands of confident religions, ideologies and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilizations, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every hopeful child, every mother and father, every inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every superstar, every supreme leader, every saint and sinner in the history of our species, lived there – on a mote of dust, suspended in a sunbeam.
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that in glory and in triumph they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of the dot on scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner of the dot. How frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the universe, are challenged by this point of pale light.
[...] To my mind, there is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly and compassionately with one another and to preserve and cherish that pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."
— Carl Sagan, speech at Cornell University, October 13, 1994

For those who can't see it.

Now that you have read it, and see it. What is your  feelings? your thoughts?

Forgive & forget

Forgive doesn't mean Forget .. So plz don't misunderstand, I forgive anyone but never forget the fact that he did something unfair to me .. So just when i forgive you, don't wait for something else, don't expect that i will continue to be the person i used to be, don't think i'll treat you the way i did before, trust you the way i did before, or even talk with you the way i did before....'cause we both know that once a glass is broken, it can never be whole again ..

We are getting older so fast without even knowing the difference between days have gone and the days are going to come .. I'm not scared because i'm getting old only but also from loosing I am progressively  and irreversibly ..
